TREE CARE

Like humans, trees need a lot more care when they are younger, especially when newly planted. They will need regular watering and pruning to ensure growth and structural integrity while they grow. Access to the tree location and availability of watering options should be considered during the selection process. Access to the planting location will have a direct bearing on the degree of maintenance that can be initiated. In some cases the trees will be essentially “On their own” after the initial planting and watering. Where access is more convenient and time and people-power available, a more complete maintenance plan can be put in place. A sample plan can be found here.

Make a commitment to care for your trees.
